Ducks & Angels. What more could you want?

Wow...what a buzz kill. I had a loooong three paragraph post typed out and I go to spell check it and when the spell checker was done, it closed not the window it was in, but my whole Firefox window - every tab and all. So now I don't want to retype it all...

But in short.

Tomorrow I will move into the top 900 of the [H]orde.

I'm so glad to be done with work.

I have no confidence when it comes to approaching those of the opposite sex (despite telling myself I will when things in my life start coming together as they are now).

End [very] shortened post.

Just three days to go. Three looooong days to go...

There's really nothing like standing outside in the rain at 1:30am with your brother and mom watching an amazing lightning storm in progress. Other than the stupid dog who's so afraid of thunder he tries his hardest to hide in the smallest nook or cranny in whichever room he chooses. Being woken up at 6:20am by the same lightning storm doesn't help matters much either.

But that storm earlier this morning was absolutely amazing - some of the biggest lightning strikes I've seen in years - all reminding me of those good ol' days hiking and camping out where you could see lightning miles away rather than hoping it's next to your house...where you could actually see the stars...where you actually had to make sure you weren't standing in the middle of an open field (almost impossible to find an open field these days in Southern California).

I really do need to win the lottery so I can just move to Idaho or Montana and just enjoy the beautiful scenery there along with the lack of traffic. Speaking of which, I probably should leave a little earlier today since people in Southern California have no idea how to drive in the rain.
