Ducks & Angels. What more could you want?

I don't really think there's anything that really sucks more than having to go out with your friends while they're buzzed/drunk and you're completely sober. Yesterday, I picked up Scott & Dave from Claim Jumper and we headed to TGIF where we were meeting Kyle. However, they were already wasted and proceeded to make complete asses of themselves. It was not only embarassing, but also, highly annoying.

However, being drunk with your best friend is absolutely wonderful. Today after work, I met up with Scott at Koji's at the Block and we proceeded to have a little sushi and a lot of alcohol. Since I haven't been drinking much, my tolerance is waaay down and after just 2 beers, I was already feeling slightly buzzed. After the second beer, the bartender presented us with a shot of sake/butterscotch schnopps (which is better than it sounds) and then I had my third beer. Halfway through that, we had another free shot and I then finished my beer. Now, I wasn't drunk, but I was heavily buzzed which was awesome since it had been quite a while since I last did that (and boy do I miss it...stupid armed forces). Anyhoo, we proceeded to walk around the Block for a while, played 18 holes of cosmic mini golf, hit up the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory and walked around a little more.

I had a great time tonight and will certainly miss Scott again when he leaves for continuing duty in the Marines. Good times.

Well, my room is quickly moving towards being completed. It's looking nicer and nicer by the day. As I put on all the faceplates yesterday and today, I realized how sweet this room will be. There are 18 electrical outlets. 4 gigabit CAT6 ports. 3 coaxial cable outlets. 2 telephone outlets. Wired speakers to the four corners of the room with a beautiful outlet right where the entertainment center will be. It's gonna be sweet.
