Chatting with Meli earlier today and she asked why I didn't update my blog more...so here it is.
I haven't updated in a while since I've been pretty busy. Not that busy, but busy nonetheless. I've been working hard at work - though I'm not quite sure what for and I've also been interviewing for another job which I'm really hoping to get. If I land this job, it'll take precedence over my interviewing with both SDSD and SDPD. However, if I don't get the job, I'll continue my efforts with the Sheriff. In the end though, I really need this job. I'm fed up with work - especially after they demote one of my bosses today to below me (she'll probably quit) and another person has already left. The office will be even more dull (duller?) than before and with a teller transferring to a new accounts position next week, we'll be even more shorthanded and I'm seriously thinking about putting in my two weeks notice without a job to back it up with. If I don't land the other job, after two weeks, I can interview all over the place for a temporary job while searching for a permanent one.
As for my Folding@Home, I'm still moving up the charts. I brought Epimetheus back online yesterday in a nice new small case and now have 7 computers folding full time for the cause. I just passed 20,000 total points and moved into the top 30,000 worldwide and I'm at 1147 in the [H]orde and on my way to top 1,000.
What else? Meli thinks I should talk about my private life more, but I'm not too keen on that (probably because of how pathetic it is), so we'll just ignore that topic from here on out. So...ummm...yeah...that's it. I'll try and keep it more updated - though I can't make any promises.
