Well, I did it. Today, I submitted the application along with my resume for a police officer job in the city of Orange. The deadline for turning in applications is November 16th, so I don't expect to hear from them until after that date, but hopefully the interview will go well and I'll be offered a job as a "trainee" where they'll pay for me to get a POST certificate and have a job waiting at the Orange Police Department.
