Hmm...MTV says the draft could happen:

The possibility of a new military draft is not a hoax or an Internet rumor. It's a real issue and it demands real answers.

I wonder who they could possibly be implying would bring back the draft? If any informed citizen knows anything about current events, they'd know that both Bush and Kerry are against the draft - though with Kerry's dovish (or hawkish depending on the time of day you ask him) stance on the war, it's obvious MTV is hoping people get out and vote for Kerry - though I can't really understand why. But let's just ignore the fact that all the bills in front of the Senate or Congress regarding the draft were all written by Democrats. Let's just ignore the fact that Bush has sated MANY times that there is no need for the draft. Let's just scare young people into thinking there could be a draft and they should get out and vote - because voting for president will make such a big difference.
