Today, I tried to blog from class, but apparently, the "Publish" button Blogger uses doesn't quite work with the stripped down version of IE in Windows Mobile, so after I got done writing the whole thing, I could'nt post it. I copied it to a text document, but it's kind of pointless now since I can replicate it here.
Basically, what's the point of all these back and forths in politics these days? Even if presented with facts, it seems as if whichever side you're own, you'll refuse to switch your views.
For example, the left believes that George Bush is in league with the Swift Boat Veterans. No matter how many times the campaign denies it, the left is not going to change their mind.
It seems pretty pointless to continue the debate since, it seems that even when presented with facts, the other side will refuse to believe them.
Heaven forbid we actually start to talk about the issues that really matter (taxes, employment, etc.).
