Ducks & Angels. What more could you want?

2004/08/20

Since the Swiftboat Veterans released their first commercial, Kerry has been on the offensive since polls are showing that people may actually care whether his Purple Hearts were rightfully earned or whether or not he broke the laws of war...but since that's all irrelevent it seems - Kerry is now attacking Bush saying he is behind the ads, though most sane people know he's not - Kerry has filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Committee seeking to sanction Bush. Way to go...when all else fails, sue (or complain to an arbitrator).

While all this has been going on, Kerry has called for Bush to condemn the ads and ask the Swift Boat veterans to stop running them. The Bush campaign hasn't asked them to stop running them, but from the start of the campaign, Bush has called for an end to third party ads, yet, we all know that Kerry could never agree to that - he can't afford to lose his chief sponsor, MoveOn.org, which has run ads comparing Bush to Hitler (where's the condemnation for that?).

Kettle, meet pot.
