I feel I'd be remiss if I didn't post something about the amazing performance turned in tonight after gushing about Paul Hamm's spectacular comeback last night in the men's all-around. Tonight, Carly became the second American to win the all-around, following in the footsteps of someone you might have heard of, Mary Lou Retton. While Carly's comeback wasn't quite as miraculous as Paul's last night, she was a ways back after the first rotation, but performed strong in her final three events, including a breathtaking floor routine, scoring 9.712. Congrats Carly!
