Every time my friends and I pass by a Taco Bell, we lament the demise of the most spectacular fast food item ever, the chili cheese burrito, a.k.a. the chilito. Every single one of these was a slice of heaven, mana sent from the gods, the perfect complement to the greatest soft drink ever created, Mountain Dew.
Today, while surfing a forum, I saw a thread on what food do you miss the most, and of course, the easy answer is the chilito. Wanting more info on the struggle to bring back the chilito, I found Chili Cheese.org - the gathering place for fans of the chilito. To my surprise, I have found that the chilito is not completely dead and the closest one to me is only 22 minutes away, so tonight I will be driving 22 minutes to once again taste that which has eluded me for years. Tonight, I shall feast once again on the mana sent from the gods.
