An AllMusic.com employee responded at waxy.org to some of the universal complaints the redesign had been getting. Basically, the gist was: we're a small company, so we designed for the masses (87% use IE on their site).
Look at IMDb - that is how a site should look - simplistic, cross-platform compatible and easy to use (though IMDb does lack any mobile version). Hopefully they'll get their act together and fix some of the glitches, but the new All Music looks horrible.

We're a small company with small company resources.Using the "small company" excuse is pretty lame. I realize that you aren't on the level of Amazon, Google or any other large site, but the new design works, looks, and acts like crap. Pages load slowly, they don't work unless you use IE and you can't tell if anything is text or a link.
