Last week, I had to suffer through two hours of crap in my Theater class - we watched Whatever happened to Baby Jane? - it was boring, pretentious, and, despite what my teacher might think, not a cult film. Today's film made up for it though. Continuing the theme of babies, we watched Rosemary's Baby tonight and it was great. I had never seen it before and I'm not sure how I missed it, but it is truly a classic that stands the test of time. Not a boring moment, great plot development, and a truly freaky ending, Rosemary's Baby succeeds on all levels. Also, while calling my mom to wish her a happy birthday, I mentioned the film, and she loved it too when it came out. Kind of interesting to be watching a movie for the first time at about the same age my mom watched it for the first time - and we both loved it. If you've never seen Rosemary's Baby, rent it and be prepared to be scared (especially at the end).
