I might actually learn how to surf if something like this comes out. A motorized surfboard sounds pretty cool, but you'd think there'd be a lot of problems with it as well. Regardless, it should be interesting to see if this can make it out of the lab and into the mainstream.
On a side note, I'm still suffering without high-speed Internet access, though I did go home for a nice day off on Friday and enjoyed cable access there on my server computer - always nice to have a back-up computer so I don't have to tote my nice new case back and forth. Not much else to report on - work is same as usual - driving the buses during the week and watching football on the weekends. Pretty jam-packed schedule, but it's working out thus far. I added a new class - "History of Modern Sport" which seems like it could be pretty interesting, though maybe a bit too complex (good thing for pass/no pass).
Also, Season 3 of Alias continues tomorrow. I hired Invision Power Connect to upgrade my server and they performed some maintenance and also made some tweaks to the server so hopefully it'll be able to stand up better to the rush that occurs every week at 7PM Pacific (after the show airs on the East Coast). That's about all my week's consisted of - struggling with dial-up, work, school & stressing over my server. Tons of fun.
